How to protect yourself naturally. During the cold and flu season.

Can olive leaf protect you this cold and flu season?

Clinical studies have shown that vitamin C is more effective than the flu vaccine. This season it is important that one ensures that they are in sufficient supply of vitamin C and D from a natural source, not synthetic. One capsule of olive leaf will ensure that you are able to stay fighting fit this cold and flu season.

Over-indulging over Christmas and the new year can be great fun but the seasonal hangovers can suppress the immune system! This will increase your susceptibility to common colds and flu's.

A Mediterranean diet (based largely on vegetables, fruits, fish and olive oil) is associated with significant health benefits. Olive oil is consumed within the Mediterranean diet and contains a powerful plant chemical called Oleuropein which has been well researched for its effects on cholesterol and heart health. However, it is the Elenolic acid (ELA) produced by the digestion of Oleuropein that is responsible for much of the immune protection from olive leaf supplements.

After taking olive leaf extract, the Oleuropein is poorly digested to form very small amounts of Elenolic acid (ELA), which is then absorbed into the blood stream.  In order to select the most effective olive leaf supplement for immune health this winter, you should select an olive leaf supplement containing a minimum Elenolic acid (ELA) content of 4%.

Olive leaf must be extracted and filtered through natural resins to produce Elenolic acid concentration at the effective strength of 4%. This strength cannot be achieved from the digestion of Oleuropein alone.

Supplements containing the 4% strength of Elenolic acid will be most effective for the immune
system as the Elenolic acid is immediately available for absorption by the body, and is not limited by digestion of Oleuropein.

The Naked Pharmacy: Olive Leaf contains a uniquely high concentration of eleuropein combined with elenolic acid for immune and cardiovascular benefits. Protect yourself with olive leaf this cold and flu season.

For protection against colds, flu, chesty coughs, throat infections and ear ache.
